We have,

PS /SQ= PT/TR

[By using the Converse of basic proportionality theorem]

∠PST  = ∠PQR     [corresponding angles]

∠PRQ  = ∠PQR    [ ∠PST = ∠PRQ]

PQ = PR

[Sides opposite to equal angles are equal]
