Given:- Volume of cube = 64cm3
=) (edge)3 = 64 cm3. [since, vol. of cube= (edge)3]
=) edge =4cm
If cubes are joined end to end then ;
=) length (l) = 4cm , breadth (b) = 4cm and height(h)= 8cm.
Since, S.A of cuboid = 2[ lb + bh + hl ]
=) 2[ 4×4 + 4×8 + 8×4]
=) 2[ 16 + 32 + 32 ]
=) 2[ 80]
=) 160 cm2
