Answer:

Explanation:

2.take good quality plastic bottle and fill hot water in it. now shake the water bottle for half a minute.now open the lid and quickly pour out water. you will find that bottle gets crushed inwards as good part of air gets heated up and expand. When close the lid only some amount of air is in bottle. it is the difference in atmosphere pressure in huge amount that cause bottle to deform and get crushed inwards.

3.The pressure exerted by a liquid is small just under the surface of the liquid. But as we go we deeper in a liquid the pressure of liquid increases. As the depth of liquid increases the weight of liquid column pushing down from above increases and hence the pressure also increases.

4. A Torricellian barometer (sometimes called a mercury barometer) is an inverted (upside-down) glass tube standing in a bath of mercury. Air pressure pushes down on the surface of the mercury, making some rise up the tube. The greater the air pressure, the higher the mercury rises.

5.pressure is inversely proportional to area

hence to increase the pressure twice we should decrease the area by half to get thhe double pressure at same force
