transpiration means loss of water in the form of vapour through stomata

transpiration is very important for plant as it is the only way for transport water from root to leafs

when water loss occurs ( transpiration) then it creates a pressure which help in pulling water upward

it also help to full fill minerals requirement to plants as along with water minerals are also get absorb by plants

Answer:

the process of water passing out from the surface of a plant or leaf

पौधे या पत्ते की सतह पर जलकण या वाष्‍प प्रकट होने की प्रक्रिया; वाष्‍पोत्‍सर्जन, प्रस्‍वेदन

Explanation:Transpiration is the process in which moisture is carried through plants from roots to pores on the underside of leaves, where it changes to vapor and is released. Transpiration also provides a significant cooling effect which keeps the plant from being over heated.

Root pressure can transport water and dissolved mineral nutrients from roots through the xylem to the tops of relatively short plants when transpiration is low or zero. ... Xylem vessels sometimes empty over winter. Root pressure may be important in refilling the xylem vessels
