Two differences between diffusion and osmosis are
1. Osmosis takes place thruogh a semi permeable membrane while diffusion does not involve any membrane.
2. In diffusion both solvent and solute particles move from one substance to other while in osmosis only solvent particles move across the semi permeable membrane.

Heya User,
Here's your answer
______________________
1.) Flow of either solute or solven molecules is in both directions.
2.) No such membrane is required.
3.) It is a fast process.
4.) Occurs in liquids as well as gases.
5.) Movements are over large distances.
1.) lt involves flow of solvent molecules in one direction.
2.) lt requires partially permeable.
3.) lt is a slow process.
4.) Occurs only in liquids.
5.) The movement is over a short distance.
