define uniform circular motion relate linear velocity and angular velocity
Answers
Linear motion are classified by s (displacement) , v (velocity) and a (acceleration). Similarly for angular motion we have Q (theta) , w or omega ( angular velocity) and & or alpha (angular acceleration) and the most important parameters specifies the angular movement is Radius (r).
So according to the question asked my answer follows as - Every angular motion attributes is accompanied with radius vector (r) when their linear parameters are calculated .
Hence , displacement and radius are related as - s = (r) x (Q)
angular velocity and linear velocity are related as - v = (r) x (w)
angular acceleration and linear acceleration are related as - a = (r) x (&)
where the product is vector product and all the parameters defined are vectors.
Changing the parameters positions for product will result into change in sign or change in direction of the resultant.
