autotrophic nutrition:

1) organisms can produce their own food.

2) they use simple methods like photosynthesis which include carbon dioxide , water and sunlight.

3) example:blue green algae, rose plant.

heterotrophic nutrition :

1) organisms cannot produce their own food.

2) they depend on other green plants .

3) example : mushroom

a) Autotrophic nutrition:
The kind of nutrition in which the organism prepares it’s own food is called autotrophic nutrition.
Example:
Green plants, algae, etc.

☆Autotrophic nutrition is 2 types:
1.Photo-autotrophic nutrition
2.Chemo-autotrophic nutrition

Heterotrophic nutrition:
The kind of nutrition in which the organism can’t prepare it’s own food is called heterotrophic nutrition.
Example:
Animals, humans, non-green plants, etc.


b) Saprophytic nutrition:
The kind of nutrition in which the organism feed on dead and decaying organic matter is called saprophytic nutrition.
Example:
Mushroom, fungi, etc.

Parasitic nutrition:
The kind of nutrition in which the organism obtain food from other living organism is called parasitic nutrition.
Example:
Cuscuta, plasmodium, etc.
