• Ecological succession is a process by which the biological structure of the community changes in most cases the succession is allowed without any disturbance such as community consists of mixed plants and animals which leads to a climax community.

• The primary succession is the process by which the plants and animals that were the first to colonize the barren land or the new habitat develop and they grow and develop by multiplication such as grasses.  

• Secondary succession is based on the primary succession which suggests that the primary succession was disturbed by some natural calamity or disaster.

• Later on insect and other weedy species of plants recolonized the area. This evolving community attained a stable structure even when the disturbance was created.
