A car with uniform motion:

  • Uniform motion means that the car is moving with a constant velocity (or speed) and with zero acceleration.

 \rm \therefore \: v = c \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ...(c = constant)

 \rm \implies \:  \dfrac{dx}{dt}  = c

 \rm  \displaystyle{\implies \: \int  dx  = c  \int dt}

 \rm  \implies \: x  = c t + k \:  \:  \: ...(k = constant)

So, graph is linear with positive slope and intercept.

A car in parking area:

  • Since the car is standing stationary, that means the car is not having any change in position.

So, graph is parallel to time axis.
