When the object is placed between the principal focus and optical centre of a convex lens, it forms a virtual, erect and magnified image.

Explanation:

The ray parallel to the principal axis passes through the focus after refraction from the lens.

The ray passing through the optical centre emerges undeviated.  

On extending these 2 rays, they appear to diverge such that a virtual, erect and magnified image A'B' is formed on the same side of the lens.
