Subject : Reforming beggars.
Sir
This is to express my views in your newspaper regarding the above subject.
The number of beggars are alarmingly increasing in our country. It's blemish to the modern society. Lack of employment and education are the main culprit for this appalling condition. It is time now to rehabilitate the street beggars.
Meticulous plans are to be framed for this purpose. Vocational camps are one of the remedies. The inmates should be given trainings as per the taste and interest of each one. Motivational sermons should be given time to time to make them optimistic and creative.
Social awareness among the ignored and vulnerable sections of the society. NGOs and philanthropists should take the onus for the upliftment of the unfortunate. Parents who force their children to beg should be rounded up and punished exemplically. Legislation should be made to ban begging. Civilized society should wake up to uproot this menace from the society for ever. Child education must be made free and mandatory for all Indian children.
If the above said steps are taken sincerely, I am sure, in India, beggars won't be seen in the coming years.
I will be grateful to you if you publish my views in your esteemed newspaper.
Thanking you
Sincerely yours
