Step-by-step explanation:

P = 40,000

r = 7 whole 1/2%

= 15/2%

n = 3

A = P(1+r/100)^n

= 40,000(1+ 15/2*100)^3

=40,000(1+3/40)^3

=40,000*43/40* 43/40 * 43/40

= 79507 Rs

C.I. = A - P

= 79507 - 40,000

= 30507 Rs

I hope this will help you

Answer:

P = 40000

R = 1/2 percent

T = 3 years

S.I. = p*r*t/100

s.i. = 40000*1/2*3/100

s.i. = 60000/100

s.i. = 600

amount = S.I. + principal

amount = 600+60000

amount = 60600
