Given :

The length of Square = 4 cm

The length and breadth of Rectangle = 8 cm and 2 cm

To find :

difference between two areas

Solution :

⇒ Let's find the area of the rectangle.

\sf \rightarrow Area \: of \: Rectangle = length \times breadth→AreaofRectangle=length×breadth

\sf = 8 \times 2=8×2

\sf = 16=16

Therefore, the area of the rectangle is 16 cm².

⇒ Let's find the area of Square.

\rightarrow \sf Area \: of \: Square = (side)^2→AreaofSquare=(side)

2

\sf = (4)^2=(4)

2

\sf =16=16

Therefore, the area of the square is 16 cm².

⇒ Let's find the difference.

Difference = 16 - 16

= 0

Therefore, the difference of two areas is 0.
