Length of the cuboidal pit =8m

breadth of the cuboidal pit=6m

height of the cuboidal pit=3m

To solve the sum we use the formula of volume of cuboid

Formula of volume of cuboid=length ×breadth×height

volume of the cuboidal pit=l×b×h

=8×6×3 m³

=144m³

to dig the cuboidal pit cost in 1 m³ is 30 ruppes

To dig the cuboidal pit cost in 144m³ is 144×30 ruppes

=4320 ruppes
