GIVEN :

• Current population (P) = 15,00,000

• Rate = 2.5 %

• Time = 2 year

TO FIND :

• Population after 2 year = ?

SOLUTION :

• We know that population after n year –

  \\ \implies \large{ \boxed{\bf P' = P \bigg(1 + \dfrac{R}{100} \bigg)^{n}}}\\

• Now put the values –

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1500000 \bigg(1 + \dfrac{2.5}{100} \bigg)^{2}\\

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1500000 \bigg(\dfrac{100 + 2.5}{100} \bigg)^{2}\\

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1500000 \bigg(\dfrac{102.5}{100} \bigg)^{2}\\

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1500000 (1.025)^{2}\\

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1500000 (1.050625)\\

  \\ \implies\bf P' = 1,575,937.5\\
