The answer is 1250/N^2

Explanation:

As we know that the expression for pressure is

Pressure = Force / Area

Thus, we can say that maximum the area

minimum will be the pressure exerted by the

table. So in order to find the minimum pressure

calculate the maximum area by using different

combination as follows

A1 = Width x length = 6cm x 8 cm = 48cm^2

A2 = Width x height = 6cm x 6 cm = 36 cm^2

A3 = length x height = 6cm x 8 cm = 48cm^2

As A1 and A3 are same so the both will exert

same pressure.

A2 = 0.06m X 0.08m = 0.0048m^2

Now calculate the pressure

Pressure = Force / Area = 6 N / 0.0048m^2

Pressure 1250 N/m^2
