Answer:

(i) 4Na + O2 --> 2Na2O

(ii) N +O2->NO2

Na2O is a basic oxide while NO2 is an acidic oxide. The first one has an electrovalent bond and the second one is formed by a covalent bond. The first one dissolves in water to form a base(NaOH) while the latter one dissolves to form two acids(HNO3 and HNO2)
