2.Half the perimeter of a rectangular garden is 40 m. length is 4 m more than its width. Find the dimensions of the garden​

then the length =x+4 (length is 4m more than its

Perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)

80m = 2((x+4)+x)

80m÷2 =2x+4

40m=2x+4

40m-4=2x

36m=2x

x =36÷2

= 18m

b=18m

l=x+4

=18+4

=22m
