Given : A  = - 4

B = 3

To Find :  d(ab)

Solution:

d(AB) is distance between points A and B

d(AB) = | B - A |

B = 3

A = - 4

=> d(AB)  = | 3 - (-4) |

=> d(AB)  = | 3+ 4 |

=> d(AB)   = | 7 |

=> d(AB)   = 7

Hence d(AB)  is 7
