p(x) = 2 {x}^{2}  - 7x + k

given :- zeroes of polynomial are reciprocal to each other

 \bold{let \:  \alpha  \: and \:  \beta  \: are \: zeroes \: of \: polynomila}

according to question..

 \bold{ \alpha  =  \frac{1}{ \beta } }

we know that..

 \bold{product \: of \: \: zeroes =  \frac{c}{a} }

here..

 \bold{ \alpha  \beta  =  \frac{k}{2} }

 \bold{ \implies \frac{1}{ \beta }  \times  \beta  =  \frac{k}{2}}  \:  \:  \:  \: (  since \:  \: \alpha  =  \frac{1}{ \beta } )

  \bold{ \implies1 =  \frac{k}{2} } \\   \bold{\implies \: k =  2}

so value of k is 2
