yes, forest tree keep taking nutrients from the soil there after sometime nutrient level will become so low that growth of trees will suffer because the nitrogen content in the soil decreases from day to day, so in that region leguminous plant should be planted to add nitrates into the soil which are later converted in nitrogen for growth of trees .
