Given that:-

In ΔPQR,

PR = 15, RQ = 20,

PS = 12

To find:-

SQ=?

As, seg RS bisects ∠R,

By angle bisector theorem,

When a ray bisects a triangle's angle, it divides the opposing sides into proportional segments.

=>\frac{PR}{PS}=\frac{RQ}{SQ}

=>\frac{15}{12}=\frac{20}{SQ}

By cross multiplication,

=>SQ=\frac{12\times20}{15}

=>SQ=4\times4

=>SQ=16 units
