2. In the adjoining figure, area of ABE is equal to the area of parallelogram ABCD. If altitude EF is 16 cm long, find the length of the altitude of the parallelogram to the base AB of length 10 cm. What is the area of AAMD, where M is mid-point of side DC?​

by condition,Base ×height=80cm

10×height=80

height=80÷10

height=8cm

m is mid point of dc

therefore dc=10cm

dm=5cm
