1. Sushruta : In his book  Sushruta Samhita he mentioned about 1100 kinds of diseases.   
                    He also mentioned about various kinds of medicinal herbs.
2. Charak : He wrote Charak Samhita where he mentioned about 101 kind of diseases and about their treatments.
