(2) Kantabai bought 1 kg tea and 5 kg sugar from a shop. She paid 50 as return fare for rickshaw. Total expense was 700. Then she realised that by ordering online the goods can be bought with free home delivery at the same price. So next month she placed the order online for 2 kg tea and 7 kg sugar and she Rs.880 for that. Find the rate of sugar and tea per kg.

Let the price of sugar per kg = x
Let the price of tea per kg = y
5x + y = 700-50
2(5x + y = 650) .......... 1.
10x + 2y = 1300
7x + 2y = 880........ 2.

By solving 1. And 2. We get.....
10x + 2y - 7x - 2y = 1300 - 880
3y = 420
y = rs. 140 per kg
5x + 140 = 650
5x = 510
x = rs. 102 per kg
