Answer:
- Why does plant cell need cell wall? So animal cells can have various shapes, but plant cells only havethe shapes of their cell walls. That's nice for plants, because it gives them the ability to grow up and out, where they can get lots of sunlightfor making their food.
2.What is cytoplasm?
The jellylike material that makes up much of a cell inside the cell membrane, and, in eukaryotic cells, surrounds the nucleus. The organelles of eukaryotic cells, such as mitochondria, the endoplasmic reticulum, and (in green plants) chloroplasts, are contained in the cytoplasm.
3.What is Plasma membrane and what. are it's characteristics?
All cells are surrounded by a plasma membrane. The membrane is composed of a phospholipid bilayer arranged back-to-back. The membrane is also covered in places with cholesterol molecules and proteins. The plasma membrane is selectively permeable and regulates which molecules are allowed to enter and exit the cell.
