Discipline is the process of training oneself in obedience , self control and skill. Discipline is the basis of the whole universe. Aristotle has rightly said "discipline is the obedience to the rules framed by the society for the good of all." Discipline should be inculcated in a child from a very young age. Besides everything, talent and brains alone are not enough to achieve goodwill, discipline has an equally serious role to play.The importance of discipline in educational institutions has been recognized well. Schools and colleges should be equipped with a calm and peaceful atmosphere so as to enable the students to learn as much as they can. Though, there must be a proper balance between discipline and freedom of a student, now-a-days discipline is the most needed  thing in schools. Unfortunately there has been a gradual decline of discipline levels  amonst the learning students in many of the coaching and learning institutes. This problem must be solved as soon as possible and we, as the students have take the initiative. Just as discipline enables a country to progress, similarly discipline gives a person the power to progress and develop.
