Good morning to the Excellencies, my respected teachers and my dear friends. The topic of my speech is Environment. Environment is the surrounding in which we live. It is the source of life. Our whole life is dependent to the environment. It directs our life and determines our proper growth and development. Good or bad quality of social life depends on the quality of our natural environment. The need of human beings for food, water, shelter and other things depends on the environment around us. There is a balanced natural cycle exists between environment and lives of human beings, plants and animals. Human society is playing vital role in degenerating the natural environment which in turn negatively affects the lives on this planet. All the human actions in this modern world directly impact the whole ecosystem.

The environment is one of the most beautiful things on Earth. The environment has given human beings everything we need, from shelter to food. Even when a human being hits a tree with a stone, the tree gives the human a fruit in return.

We celebrate World Environment Day on June 5. It is a day of talks, slogans and messages to save mother Earth.

As we see on the earth’s globe, there are two prominent colors blue and green. Blue is due to water and green is due to greenery. A major part of our earth’s natural beauty is due to plants and trees. Speed with which we are cutting trees and polluting the environment, there will be no green left. Just imagine!! If there will be no plants and trees on earth then how everything will be look like, just bore and blank.

It’s the moment to rethink on this issue. Only by saving trees we will be to pass all the benefits, which are available to us, to our next generation. So, never cut the trees and also discourage this act. They have no alternative. On the other hand grow more and more trees and plants.:
