1.A person with myopic eye cannot see object beyond 1.2 m distinctly. What should be type of

corrective lens used to restore proper vision?

2.A person needs a lens of power –5.5 dioptres for correcting distant vision. For correcting his

near vision he needs a lens of power + 1.5 dioptre. What is focal length of lens required for

correcting : (i) distant vision, and (ii) near vision ?

3.The far point of a myopic person is 80 cm in front of the eye. What is the nature and the power

of lens required to enable him to see very distant objects clearly?

4. The near point of hypermetropic eye is 1m. What is the power of lens required to correct this defect? Assume that the near point of normal eye is 25 cm.

u asked two i kept 4 pls mark brainliest....plsplsplsplspls

1. In Myopia Light can not focus on retina and the farway objects appears blurry.

In Hypermetropia the person is not able to see nearby objects.

2. In Myopia image is formed Infront of Retina while in Hypermetropia image is formed behind the retina.

3. Reduction of focal length in Myopia and Increase in Focal length in Hypermetropia.

4. The Eye ball is elongated in Myopia whereas Flattening of eye ball happens in Hypermetropia.

5. Concave lens is used of suitable focal length to correct the problem in Myopia

And Convex lens is used in Hypermetropia of suitable focal length to correct the disorder.
