2) Radius of a circle is 29cm and its distance of the chord from the centre is 21cm. Find the length of the chord.​

here,

r=29cm

distance= 21 cm which is also the chord bisector

Thus ,the chord is twice its base

=+

(29cm)²= +(21cm)²

= (29cm)²-(21cm)²

= (29cm+21cm)(29cm-21cm)

= 50cm×8cm

b=400cm²

=20cm

So the chord is twice the base= 20cm×2= 40cm
