a) there are many chances of getting infected by HIV virus in the above case it might be because of blood transfusion that occured during the surgery
b) it is a prejudice in the society thet people think the HIV spread only through sexual contact and for some people they think it is contagious
c) they must have convinced the other students by explaining in a more detailed manner about the virus and take the help of their teacher instead
