the yield of rice dose not increase because there is less amount of nitrogen in soil . after some time when ram planted pea the amount of nitrogen in soil increase because pea is a leguminous plant that plays a role in fixation of nitrogen with the help of rhizobium bacteria. so when ram again planted rice its yield get increases as it get enough nitrogen to grow.
