Like it or not, the social media influence every aspect of daily life much more than we think they do. Although many contend that every social encounter that is not face-to-face may deteriorate family life and personal relationships, I personally believe that association with social media need not to be this way. Our social tools have both merits and demerits. it is up to us how to meet their challenges. The much needed modern life transformation requires the social media for us to share information and increases our awareness about the way others feel and think. This can be great if and only if we do not become addicted to them. People got an obsession with the use of online world with their smartphone/computers and start ignoring others. Thereby, social media makes people less social. the mother of all depression and anxiety come from the social media. You see, today most of the families are destroyed by social media especially facebook. Children are fighting with the fathers, mothers are getting divorce , daughters are being raped and killed. Our school children are being bullied. Studies have shown that people who spend a lot of time on social media are at least two times more likely to feel socially isolated. Social media use displaces more authentic social experiences because the more time a person spends online, the less time there is for real-world interactions.
