Answer:

1. Trade winds is an extremely steady winds tat blow from the sub-tropical high pressure belt to the equatorial low pressure belt in both the hemispheres.

Whereas, westerlies blowing from the sub-tropical high pressure belt to the sub-polar low pressure belt in both the hemispheres generally in West direction.

2. Subtropical high pressure- subtropical high pressure belt (30°N and S to 35°N and S).

Whereas, Polar high pressure- polar high pressure belt (90°N and 90°S).

3. Cyclones is an area of low pressure surrounded by high pressure. Strong winds blow in a spiral motion around the centre.

Whereas, anticyclone is a high pressure area surrounded by low pressure. Gender winds blow out in all directions from the centre in a spiral motion.

4.Land breeze - During the night, land is cooler than the sea. High pressure over the land causes the winds to blow from land to sea. These are called land breezes.

Whereas, Sea breeze -Land is warmer than the sea during the day. Low pressure is thus created over land, causing the winds to blow from sea to land. These are called sea breezes.
