• Therefore larger angle = x + 36

Rule :

Sum of supplementary angles is 180°

Equation Formed :

$\longrightarrow\sf{x + x + 36 = 180}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{2x + 36 = 180}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{2x = 180 - 36}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{2x = 144}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{x = \dfrac{144}{2}}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{x = 72}$

• Therefore measure of smaller angle is 72°

• Measure of larger angle is x + 36

$\longrightarrow\sf{72 + 36}$

$\longrightarrow\sf{108}$

• Therefore measure of larger angle is 108°

From the question,

Then,
