Let the cost of table be $x and chair be $y, then

2x + 3y = 1350 (multiply by 3 )........equ. 1

3x + 2y = 1775 (multiply by 2).........equ. 2

Use Simultaneously Equation.

then,

6x + 9y = 4050

(-) 6x + 4y = 3550

(change sign to subtract)

then, 6x get cancelled. left is 5y = 500

y = 500/ 5 = 100

Now put this y value in any equation.

Equation 1

2x + 3y = 1350

2x + 3*100 = 1350

2x = 1350 - 1300

x = 50/2

x = 25

Therefore, cost of one table is $25 and one chair is $100.
