this activity shows that how our eardrum of ear works. The sound which travels to our ear hits to the eardrum and due to this hit it cause a vibration. Due to the mean of air through vibration motion makes us hear the sound which our friend has spoken ( as per the given activity ). This activity makes us clear that our eardrum works through the vibration through air.
