P.E=mgh

= 4 x 9.81 x 45 = 1765.8 J

Before impact,

K.E=P.E

(1/2)m(v^2) = 1569.6

v = sqrt(2 x1765.8 /4)

v=882.9 m/s

v= 883 m/s
