Answer:

The particles in gas vibrate and move freely at high speeds. The particles in liquids vibrate, move about, and slide past each other and the particles in  solids vibrate (jiggle) but generally do not move from place to place.

In liquid or gases molecules aren't packed tightly as the solid. So the loose molecules get place to move.
