Answer:

Given:

The AP is k, 2k+1, 3k+2, 4k +3 ,..........

To find:

The next two terms of the given AP

Solution:

The AP is k, 2k+1, 3k+2, 4k +3 ,....( Given)

Let us consider the case when k=1

The given AP can be written as:

1,3,5,7...... upto n terms

Here, a =1 , d = t2 -t1 = 3-1=2

Now,

tn = a+(n-1)d .......( By formula)

t5 = 1+(5-1)2

= 1 +8

= 9

Similarly ,

t6 = 1+ ( 6-1)2

= 1+10

= 11

The A.P. will be k, 2k +1, 3k+2, 4k +3, 5k +4 , 6k +5 ,.......

Therefore, the next two terms of the given A.P. is 5k +4 and 6k +5
