2. The perimeter of the floor of a room is 30 meter and the height of the room is
its perimeter. Find the area of four walls of the room.

look,it's simple.

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

height is 3m.

now the formula used for finding surface are of walls is 2h(1+b)

here you can clearly see there is 2(l+b) when you remove h.so the procedure is as follows

perimeter=2(l+b)

=30 m(already given)

height=3m(also given)

therefore,

2h(l+b)

or can be written as 2(l+b)h

which is 30×3 m

=90m square

therefore the area of wall of room is 90 m ^2.
