Mean = 4.6875

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that the standard deviation and coefficient of variation of a data are 1.2 and 25.6  respectively.

And we have to find the mean of the data.

Firstly, Coefficient of variation formula is given by;

    Coefficient of Variation (C.V.) = \frac{\text{Standard Deviation}}{\text{Mean}} \times 100

In question we are provided with C.V. = 25.6 and Standard deviation of data = 1.2

So,        C.V.  =  \frac{\text{Standard Deviation}}{\text{Mean}} \times 100

            25.6  =  \frac{1.2}{\text{Mean}} \times 100

            Mean =  \frac{1.2}{25.6} \times 100

                       = \frac{1200}{256} = 4.6875

Therefore, the value of mean is 4.6875.
