2. The sum of digits of a two-digit number is 15. The original number is reversed. The reserved number is greator than original number by 9 . Find the original number.

let the original number be 10x+y.

x+y=15...(i)

10y+x=9+10x+y

9y-9x=9....(÷9)

y-x=1

or simply

x-y=-1...(ii)

by adding equation i and ii

2x=14

x=14/2

x=7

substituting value of x in equation (ii)

7-y=-1

y=7+1

y=8

original number=10x+y

=10*7 +8

=78

Hence..the original number is 78..
