2. The vertices of a triangle are A (-5, 7), B (3, 2) and C (4,5).
Show that whether it is an isosceles, scalene or equilateral triangle.​

area of triangle = 1/2[ x1(y2-y3)+x2(y3-y1)+x3(y1-y2)]

=1/2[-5(2-5)+3(5-7)+4(7-2)]

=1/2(-5(-3)+3(-2)+4(5)

=1/2(15-6+20)

=1/2(29)

=14.5 unit ans

and the triangle is isosceles.
