11

-3/11 + x = 0

x = 0 + 3/11

Therefore, 3/11 is the answer

Moreover when you add a number to it's additive inverse it's sum is always zero

Ex: -1+1=0

Step-by-step explanation:

Let we take the number as 'x'

x + (-3/11) = 0

x - 3/11 = 0

x = 0 + 3/11

x = 0/1 + 3/11

(TAKE THE LCM of 1 and 11 -- 11)

x = (0×11/1×11) + 3/11

x = 0/11 + 3/11

x = 3/11

So the number is 3/11.
