let the numbers be 4x and 7x.

now...

$= > \frac{4x - 24}{7x - 24} = \frac{5}{11} \\ = > 44x -26 4 = 35x - 120 \\ = > 9x =264 - 120 \\ = > x = \frac{144}{9} \\ = > x = 16$

the larger number is=7(16)=112
