When a man touches an electric wire, he gets a shock. The shock sometimes is so strong
that it may take the life of the person. But, animals like birds, keep sitting on such high
voltage wires without any shock. Why? How does electric shock occur?

Answer:

human skin is so sensitive and can easily get shocked even by a small frequency of current , whereas birds use their legs to sit on the copper wires , which is also a bad conducter of electricity and however, their skin is rigid and hard, hence birds does not gets shocked
