When length is double then resistance is
double
So 2×resistance of a=resistance of b
Let current flowing in a be I1 and in b be I2
then
I1=2R/V
and I2=R/V
so
I1/I2= 2R/V/R/V
=2/1
So required ratio is 2:1
double
So 2×resistance of a=resistance of b
Let current flowing in a be I1 and in b be I2
then
I1=2R/V
and I2=R/V
so
I1/I2= 2R/V/R/V
=2/1
So required ratio is 2:1
