Answer:
here is your answers
Explanation:
1.Preparation of Soil :- Turning and loosening of soil allows the roots to
penetrate deep into the soil. The loosened soil allows the roots to
breathe easily even when they go deep into the soil. The loosened soil
helps in the growth of earthworms and microbes present in the soil
which are the friends of the farmers as they further turn and loosen the soil and add humus to it. Turning and loosening of soil brings the nutrient rich soil to the top. This process is called tilling or ploughing. The ploughed field may have big pieces of soil called the crumbs. It is necessary to break these crumbs with a plank. The field is leveled for sowing of seeds. This levelling is done with a leveller.
2.Sowing:- Putting the seeds into the soil for growing crops is called sowing. Good quality seeds are selected for a high yield and seeds are sown at a right distance (to avoid over crowding or wastage of space) and right depth (for proper germination and to avoid damage caused by birds). These days seed drill with the help of a tractor is used for sowing of seeds uniformly at a proper distance and depth.
3.Weeding:- Weeds are unwanted plants that grow along with the crop plants. The removal of weeds is called weeding. Weeding is necessary as weeds compete with the crop plants for water, sunlight nutrients, space and air. Weeding is done manually by the khurpi or by uprooting of weeds or adding chemicals called weedicides like 2,4-D.
4.Threshing:- Separation of grains from the stalk is called threshing. This is carried out with the help of a machine called a ‘combine’ which is infact a combined harvester and thresher.

(a) Preparation of soil: Soil preparation is necessary before growing a crop. It involves tilling and loosening the soil. This allows the roots to penetrate deep in the soil and to breath easily even when they are deep.
(b) Sowing: The process of putting seeds into the soil is called sowing. The tool used traditionally for sowing seeds is funnel-shaped. Nowadays a seed drill is used for sowing with the help of tractors. This tool sows the seed uniformly at a proper distance and depth.
(c) Weeding: Some undesirable plants grow along with crop and these unwanted plants are called weeds. The process of removing these unwanted plants is called weeding.
(d) Threshing: The process of separating the grain seeds from the chaff is called threshing.
