He was Normal in a Few Days
Death lurks in every household; however we come to know its presence when it takes away some beloved family member. It made its presence felt in my family when it took away my grandfather suddenly. He breathed his last while he was asleep.
Every family member was grief-stricken. But my father was kind of dazed with shock. Even after many days after the grandfather’s demise, he remained sulking, low-spirited, and forlorn. My mother tried her best to make him come out of the loss; my uncle tried to console him frequently. Nothing worked.
One day I had an idea. I took an old album to my father. It had lots of grandfather’s pictures. When father saw those pictures, tears stated coming out of his eyes. He wept profusely. It made him lighter. After this he became normal gradually. He had learnt to come to terms with the harsh reality of death.
Moral: Death of beloved ones saddens everyone.
